Diomidis Botsikas

After completing his studies in Thessaloniki, Greece, he obtained his medical degree in 1998. He began his radiology training in Athens in 2003, continuing it in 2005 at HUG (Geneva University Hospitals). Since 2013, as an associate physician, he has been in charge of women’s imaging, which later became the Gynecological Radiology Unit at HUG. Concurrently, he furthered his education by obtaining a university diploma in gynecological and breast imaging from Pierre et Marie Curie University in Paris. Dr. Botsikas was awarded his Privat Docent in 2018 and was subsequently promoted to Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine of UNIGE (University of Geneva) in 2020. He is the lead radiologist for HUG’s Breast Center, Endometriosis Center, and Gynecological Cancer Center. Since 2015, he has been a member of the expert group for pelvic imaging of the European Society of Urogenital Radiology (ESUR), responsible for training and developing guidelines for pelvic imaging.

Natacha Firmenich

An FMH board-certified radiologist in Switzerland since 2017, Dr. N. Firmenich specializes in women’s imaging and oncology. She completed her studies in Marseille and later trained at HUG (Geneva University Hospitals), where she continued her work as a Senior Registrar (Chef de clinique) in women’s imaging. She obtained a university diploma in Women’s Imaging under Professor Bazot at Tenon Hospital in Paris. Dr. Firmenich subsequently joined the Centre d’Imagerie d’Onex and has been practicing at the Centre Jean-Violette since September 2023.

Dr. Jean-Baptiste Martin, a radiologist trained in Marseille, joined HUG in 1995. He pioneered minimally invasive pain treatments in Switzerland, introducing vertebroplasty (1995) and percutaneous disc herniation treatments (2000). After further developing these techniques at Clinique Générale Beaulieu and co-founding the Rive Droite/Rive Gauche pain reference centers, he joined the Centre Jean-Violette in 2016.
